2nd Annual
Mothers Day March
May 8, 2021  1PM    Pennington, NJ    5K

We will gather together to mark the loss of countless lives, and to stand unified in our assertion that BLACK LIVES MATTER. We demand equal protection under the law, and justice for victims and their families. We assert that we are done with deaths at the hands of white supremacists, and we demand that they, and those who will protect them, be held accountable.

We are sourcing compassion and resources for the benefit of Mamas and the people they love who have been impacted by violence, tragedy, the disparities within our criminal justice system, and all manners of injustice.

The beneficiaries of this year's collective offering will be the Black Mama's Bail Out, an initiative of the National Bail Out

The 5K walk will start and end at 5 Academy Ave. in Pennington, NJ. Thank you to the First Baptist Church to hosting this community event.  All marchers must wear a properly fitting mask. Signs with messages supporting the movement are welcomed. Please remember to bring your own reusable (and full!) water bottle to stay hydrated!

We invite all marchers to invite friends and family to sponsor their walk, to help raise funds for the Bail Out. And yes, you are welcome to just sponsor yourself :) You may use this form (optional) to keep track of your sponors. if you are able, please get your pledges in EARLY, as we will send the initial payment to the bailout fund on Friday, May 7, in order to help Mamas to be bailed on on Mother's Day. The balance of the funds received will be sent on Wednesday, May 12  to help with future bail outs.

Please register below to become a walker, and used the attached form to collect sponsorships. If you use Facebook , please also RSVP on the event page - this helps us spread the word! Cash and checks may be dropped off at dandelion wishes, 45 West Broad Street, Hopewell, or brought to the event. We also encourage you to purchase a t-shirt to wear in solidarity. You may also purchase a t-shirt to donate, which will be made available to walkers at the March who do not have a budget for a t-shirt.

If mailing a check, please mail to: Hope Rises Up (BMBO), PO Box 843, Pennington, NJ 08534.
