Mothers and families affected by police violence will #STAND on Capitol Hill for A Day Of Action, May 10, 2018, the Thursday before Mothers' Day. Over 1,000 Mothers, family members, and allied organizations across the country will mobilize and congregate on Capitol Hill to promote police reform. This event is run and sponsored by the Truth, Hope, and Justice Initiative - please follow them on Facebook to stay informed! Hope Rises Up is working with other allies to support our local NJ families who have been personally affected by this national epidemic travel to DC to attend this important event. If we raise more money than is needed for NJ, we will use additional funds to help families nationwide.
